Weekly Feature September 4 – 10 Gift and Antique Shops in Historic Provo Buildings

Block 100 Antiques at 145 N. University Avenue occupies the building where Jolley Motor Company opened the Provo Chrysler Plymouth dealership 1937. The historic building has housed many businesses in the past eighty years and now is home to an amazing expanse of unique antiques. It also brings together musicians from the Provo and national music scenes.

HERE Gift Gallery at 26 Center Street in Provo is located in the historic Union Block in Downtown Provo. HERE features the creations of more than 50 local artisans, and sells their products, from stationery and artwork to furniture, pottery, fresh flowers and more. The shop’s second-story loft hosts classes in calligraphy, screen painting, cake decorating, and more, as well as book clubs and other meetings.

Union Block is a Half-Block building of brick and stone built in 1889 in the historic Provo Town Square, and restored to its original appearance in the 1980s with the Town Square renovations. It has accomodated many businesses over the years, including a mercantile company, a clothing establishment, an ice cream parlor, lawyer and dental offices, Rotary and Kiwanis clubs, health foods, a restaurant, and a bookstore. It is now home to several businesses, counting HERE Gift Gallery.
